Verbena
Verbena is a common name for a group of flowering plants in the family Verbenaceae, with about 250 species of annuals and perennials. They have elongated leaves with toothed edges and clusters of small flowers with five petals, in colors such as white, pink, purple, red, or bi-colored. Verbena plants are native to Europe and the Americas, but have been widely cultivated and hybridized for ornamental purposes. Verbena plants need full sun, well-drained soil, moderate water, and good air circulation to thrive. They bloom from spring to fall and attract butterflies and bees. Verbena plants are also used as herbs for aromatherapy and home remedies.
