Malva
Malva is a genus of herbaceous plants in the family Malvaceae, with about 30 species native to temperate regions of Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. They are also known as mallow or hollyhock. They have palmately lobed leaves and colorful flowers with five petals, arranged in clusters or spikes. Malva plants are used as ornamental plants, food plants, and medicinal plants. Some species have edible leaves and flowers, while others have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antioxidant properties.
