Impatiens
Impatiens are flowering plants in the family Balsaminaceae, with more than 1,000 species distributed in the Northern Hemisphere and the tropics. They are also known as busy lizzie, jewelweed, touch-me-not, or snapweed. They have succulent stems and colorful flowers that come in various shapes and sizes. They are popular as shade-loving annuals or perennials for garden beds or containers. They are named impatiens because their seed pods burst open when ripe, scattering the seeds with force.
