Columbine
Columbine plant is a perennial herbaceous plant that belongs to the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). It has about 100 species, mostly native to Europe and North America. It produces colorful flowers with spurs that attract pollinators. It is also called granny’s bonnet or aquilegia. It grows in gardens or in the wild, where it can self-seed easily. It blooms in spring and prefers sun or light shade and well-drained soil.
