Ageratum
Ageratum is a genus of flowering plants in the aster family that can be used as a filler or accent in floral arrangements. It has fuzzy flowers in shades of blue, pink, purple, or white that attract bees and butterflies. Ageratum can be grown from seed or transplants and prefers fertile soil with good drainage and full sun. Ageratum should be harvested when the flowers are fully open and before they fade or drop. Ageratum can be used fresh or dried and has a long vase life. Ageratum is also known as floss flower or blue mink.
